‘Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters’ Film Gets Official International Poster

For Percy Jackson fans, check out this awesome international poster that the  creative team behind the film has just released ahead of the movie!

The poster comes via the official Facebook page.

The international poster looks great, featuring Logan Lerman as Percy Jackson front and center. To the left is Annabeth, played by Alexandra Daddario, and to the right is Grover, played by Brandon T. Jackson.

The poster sports the tagline, “Where there are gods there are monsters,” which is different from the U.S. poster’s tagline that reads, “In Demigods We Trust.”

This version depicts the trio in battle ready stances, standing among the tumultuous waves of the ocean. In the background, we get various images of the monsters we’ll be seeing in the movie, including a hippocampus and the Colchis Bull. We’ve seen both of these monsters in the trailer.

This is not the first poster that was released today, as earlier we got the U.S. poster for Sea of Monsters, which not only showed the trio, but Clarisse and Tyson as well. Clarisse, daughter of Ares, is played by Leven Rambin, while Tyson, a cyclops and son of Poseidon, is played by Douglas Smith.

This poster follows several previous posters of the individual characters that were released over the last few weeks. You can check those out right here!

Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters hits theaters on August 7 and is based on the book of the same name by Rick Riordan. Jake Abel will also be reprising his role as Luke, and Nathan Fillion will appear as Hermes, while Stanley Tucci will portray Dionysus.
